63 New Bond Street (which comprises a series of six buildings including 53 – 63 New Bond Street and 5 – 17 Brook Street), is currently occupied by Fenwick’s Department Store and separately the former Dolce & Gabbana store and office suite at 55 New Bond Street.

Despite the site’s prominent location and renowned retail past dating back nearly 140 years, there remain several issues that led the Fenwick family to decide to sell the site in 2022.



Limited quality and visibility of the retail at street level as well as a challenging internal configuration and poor-quality retail floorspace, which impacts upon the ability to contribute positively to this world class destination

The changing nature of retail, meaning department stores are less attractive to customers and their desire to enhance their online retail presence as well as invest in other properties within their portfolio

Numerous level changes and extensive columns within the building impacting upon accessibility and inclusivity

A high ongoing operational carbon cost

Lazari Investments is now bringing forward fresh proposals which will future proof the site, meet the requirements of today’s and the future market, as well as adopting leading sustainability and circular economy credentials.
